Coronavirus Update
We have been keeping up-to-date with the guidance issued by the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland about coronavirus (COVID-19).
The health and well-being of our service users and staff is of primary importance and we are following all guidance to reduce the risk of infection. Guidance for care home settings has now been issued and it highlights some important preventative measures which we are now implementing.
Reducing Visitors
As from Monday 16th March we are restricting visits to our services and main office. Only essential visits will be allowed and we ask that you phone ahead and plan these beforehand with the unit manager directly. No unannounced visits will be accepted and any visits that do take place with be close family only.
Events and Meetings
We are also postponing any arranged events and meetings – this will include coffee mornings at the units, fundraising events, meetings and reviews and the 7till9 Club.
I am sure you will understand that these are difficult decisions to make but it is important that we follow the latest guidance available to us.
We are monitoring the situation closely and further restrictions and actions may have to be taken as time goes on.
Thank you for your support and co-operation during this time.
We will do our best to keep you informed of any further developments via email, our website and our social media pages.
