At our Berryden Mills flatted complex we have eight shared care places to enable young adults with learning disabilities develop the skills they will need to live independently in the future.
Four young adults stay with us for a month then go home for a month. When they are at home, another group move in. All are involved in all the decision making process within the flats and planning what they do and how they spend their leisure time. Staff work with residents to create essential lifestyle plans so residents can inform us of how we can best support them.
