Services
We aim to enrich the quality of life of people with learning disabilities by creating opportunities to enjoy new experiences, develop social and independent living skills and promote participation in community life. And we're proud to be a user led charity to ensure everyone using Archway has a real say in how, and what, services are offered.
Respite Care
We have three respite care units - Westburn Road ,
Two Mile Cross and Dyce.
Each unit can offer respite breaks for up to six children or adults at one time.
Services are offered in a number of ways to best meet individual family circumstances, on an occasional or regular basis throughout the year:-
Weekend - Friday to Monday
Weekday - Sunday pm or Monday am - Friday am
Annual Holiday Breaks - Up to 14 per annum
Emergency Facility - Each house contains an emergency bed facility that can be used when necessary
During respite breaks we focus on the individual needs and personal development of each service user. Likes, dislikes and special needs are all taken into account. Daily routines including schooling, day centres and evening commitments can be maintained. In addition a range of social and leisure activities are introduced to develop social and interpersonal skills, build confidence and ensure service users enjoy full and active lives in the community.

Shared Care
At our Berryden Mills flatted complex we have eight shared care places to enable young adults with learning disabilities develop the skills they will need to live independently in the future.
Four young adults stay with us for a month then go home for a month. When they are at home, another group move in. All are involved in all the decision making process within the flats and planning what they do and how they spend their leisure time. Staff work with residents to create essential lifestyle plans so residents can inform us of how we can best support them.
Permanent Care
We have two permanent care homes. At Westburn Road eight adults live in the main house while at Berryden Mills four adults live in two flats adjacent to our shared care facility.
